Configuring your E-mail Client to Show
Extended Headers
Eudora Light for Windows
To retrieve the extended headers from an e-mail message
received in Eudora Light (version 1.5.x), select Tools from the
menu bar and click on Options...
Having selected Options... , the
Options Dialogue box will appear. From the Category list on the left,
select the Fonts&Display -- you will see a series of checkbox
options-- to show the extended headers described in this article, you need only make sure
the Show all headers (even the ugly ones) is selected. The next
time you open a new mail message the full headers should be readily available. Keep in
mind, if you are like most casual e-mail readers you probably don't want to see all this
techspeak mumble jumble every time your best friend writes you to see how your doing. To
get back to just the basic headers, you need only to uncheck the same box. The next time
you open a new message things should be right back the way they were.

Eudora Light v3.0 for Windows
If you happen to be using the newest version of Eudora Light
or Eudora Pro for Windows, showing extended headers is simply a matter of clicking the BLAH
button on your incoming message's toolbar. Clicking it again will hide the extended
headers.
Eudora Light for the Mac
OS
To show all headers on an incoming e-mail message in Eudora
Light for the Mac OS, click the BLAH button on that message's toolbar.
To hide extra headers, simply click the BLAH button again.
Netscape Mail To retrieve the extended headers from an e-mail message received in Netscape Mail
(version 3.x), from the OptionsMenu check Show
Headers | All. (You must have the Netscape Mail window open to have this option).
You should see the full headers immdiately in Netscape's mail window. Keep in mind, if you
are like most casual e-mail readers you probably don't want to see all this techspeak
muble jumble every time your best friend writes you to see how you're doing. To return to
the simple headers you are probably used to, you need only go back and check Show
Headers | Normal from the same Options menu. Other versions of
Netscape Mail have similar options. For example, in Netscape 2.x, you need only select Show
All Headers. Figure 3. Netscape 3.x Mail: Showing Extended Headers...
