Under Construction... Just Say No!
Under normal circumstances, you do not need to tell people
your site is under construction. They expect it to be. It is taken
for granted that all good Web sites are constantly being revised
and updated.
When you first receive your Web Hosting Site, you will see
an "Under Construction" page if you visit your
Web site. This page is a placeholder only, so that you can verify
that your Web site has been activated. In lieu of the Under Construction
sign, consider putting up a very simple single page that provides
your basic company information. Later, when you are finally ready
to publish, replace your single page with a fully-developed site.
Don't forget that users revisiting pages like to see new
content.
